Company History

iPacesetters traces its roots to 1970 when Automated Resources Group, LLC was founded. The call center business started as American Pacesetters Enterprises in the mid-1980s in Mesa, Ariz., with a mission to provide teleservices to clients in the trade publishing industry. The company grew and prospered as it added clients and broadened its product line.

In November 2009, American Pacesetters acquired IQ Resource Pvt. Ltd. (IQR), a leading Indian BPO company that supports U.S. and U.K. customers.  The combined companies were rechristened iPacesetters, with international headquarters in Mesa, AZ.

iPacesetters has continued its strategy of growth both organically and by selective acquisitions. In June 2010, the company purchased The Charlton Group, Inc., a leading U.S.-based provider of contact center services, primarily for the cable industry. In November 2010, iPacesetters merged with ARGI, a Montvale, N.J., provider of audience development, lead generation and marketing technology services. The merger enables iPacesetters to begin offering integrated solutions that combine centralized transactional databases with performance-based call centers, which allows clients to interact with their customers across a variety of touch points, in real time.

iPacesetters continues to build out its business into new verticals, including healthcare, telecommunications and not-for-profit organizations. The company now has more than 1,200 employees worldwide.
